Novidades no iTunes 10.4.1

O iTunes 10.4 está agora preparado para o OS X Lion. Pode agora usar o iTunes em ecrã completo e tirar proveito da nova funcionalidade do OS X Lion, que permite usar as aplicações sem distracções. Em modo de ecrã completo, passe de uma aplicação a outra com um simples gesto.

O iTunes 10.4.1 proporciona várias melhorias, entre as quais:

• corrige um problema de incompatibilidade entre o iTunes e alguns teclados de terceiros; 
• corrige problemas relacionados com a adição de grafismos a músicas e vídeos; 
• resolve uma questão que podia fazer com que o iTunes deixasse de responder durante a compra de um filme em HD. 
• corrige um problema que podia fazer com que o iTunes demorasse mais tempo do que o normal a abrir depois de o Mac sair do modo de pausa; 
• visa questões relacionadas com o suporte do VoiceOver.

You might have learned that a certain upcoming version of Mac OS X may have scrolling that is “bass-ackwards”.

That is, when you push up on your trackpad or mouse scroller, the page content moves up too, just like on iOS devices.

I made a very minimal little app that lets you reverse your scrolling on 10.5 and above too. It’s a pure usermode app, no drivers or kexts to install. Uninstallation is a simple drag-to-trash.

Silent but deadly

Basically you install a tiny agent in your PC or phone, which silently waits for a remote signal to wake up and work its magic.

This signal is sent either from the Internet or through an SMS message, and allows you to gather information regarding the device's location, hardware and network status, and optionally trigger specific actions on it.

By marking your device as missing, Prey will gather all the evidence you request and send it either to your Control Panel account or directly to your mailbox, depending on the reporting method you choose.

Besides gathering information, you can also trigger actions remotely such as sounding a loud alarm or showing a message which will appear onscreen – just in case you want the guy to know he's being chased at.

You can also wipe your stored passwords for security, or even lock down your PC to prevent access. In other words, you're in control
